Our May Friends window features a silent auction with a number of new and just-like-new items generously donated for this purpose. Bidding closes at 5pm on Thurs., May 28.

The next Friends Board meeting is scheduled for Wed., May 13,
at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Come celebrate with us! Wed., June 10, is the 30th anniversary of the Nipomo Library. Festivities will take place from 11am to 1pm. The fun will include the ribbon-cutting on our new sunshade, the kickoff for Lunch at the Library, a free BBQ lunch for kids and adults, games, crafts, booths, and more.

WE'RE STILL SEARCHING...
for a Book Sale Co-Chair. Duties include recruiting, scheduling, and overseeing volunteers for setup, takedown, staffing; setting out signs; staying at our three book sales for the entire day. Time commitment: about 10-15 hours for each sale. Contact Linda at keighleyshort@yahoo.com.
A REMINDER ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS MEMBERSHIP
Your membership in the Friends of the Nipomo Library, regardless of the month you join, runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. As always, your membership dues, additional donations, and money raised through book sales and other fundraisers go to support the library beyond what the county can provide.
