What's new with the friends in MARCH?
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Next Friends Board Meeting: Wed., March 11, at 1:30pm in the Library Community Room. Everyone is welcome. On the agenda is the gift-basket drawing (see photo on right) for members who joined or renewed by March 1.

First Book Sale of the Year: Sat., March 14, 10am to 2pm. Friends members receive tickets for 2 free books. ​
Silent Auction: throughout March in the Friends window near the service desk. This sale features spring items, handbags, pottery, porcelain, and jewelry, among other treasures.

Annual Kids' Day in the Park: Library staff will host a booth on March 28, 11am-2pm. Visit the booth and spin the wheel to get a prize.
In-N-Out Reading Program for kids 4-12: Read 5 books and fill out a reading log between March 7 and April 18, and earn a free hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out.​

- DONATIONS NEEDED for our 2026 Silent Auctions in May and November. To donate new (or clean and like new) items such as home décor, jewelry, or personal items, please leave them for Angie at the library service desk.
Book Sale Co-Chair
Duties include recruiting, scheduling, and overseeing volunteers for setup, takedown, staffing; setting out signs; staying at our 3 book sales for the entire day. Time commitment about 30-45 hours per year. Contact Linda at keighleyshort@yahoo.com.
