HOW WE BENEFIT THE LIBRARY AND THE COMMUNITY
We support our work with tax-deductible membership fees and charitable donations. We also raise funds through our outdoor Saturday book sales, ongoing book sales in our lobby bookstore, and silent auctions held several times a year.
We apply for grants and donations to fund our summer library programs, support other library programs, and provide items not included in the library budget—all of which benefit our community.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To support the Nipomo Library as it strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning, and the love of reading throughout our diverse community.
To enhance the library's resources, increase the community's access to information and knowledge, and provide for a vibrant cultural gathering place.
The Friends of the Nipomo Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Donations and memberships are deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
